The Last Suppe is a late 15th-century mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan. It is one of the world’s most famous paintings.

The work is presumed to have been commenced around 1495–1496 and was commissioned as part of a plan of renovations to the church and its convent buildings by Leonardo’s patron Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan. The painting represents the scene of The Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples, as it is told in the Gospel of John, 13:21. Leonardo has depicted the consternation that occurred among the Twelve Disciples when Jesus announced that one of them would betray him.

Due to the methods used, and a variety of environmental factors, as well as intentional damage, very little of the original painting remains today, despite numerous restoration attempts, the last being completed in 1999.

The process of film

This part i want to add a gesture of hand to show the friend think the stone is stupid and in the end i add an action of  sticking his tongue out.

This part i drawn the little boy is running, because he is sad.

This part to show the little boy is lonely.

This three actions all to show the little boy is sad. To save the time, so the animation is simple.

This part to show the little boy is shocked, when the stone began to shine again. This part i draw with much patience. I even draw the hair’s action.

This is the most easy way to show the stone’s light changed from weak to strong.

These animation all aimed to add more details to show the plot.

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Finished all the animation. These is all the TVP files i have drawn.

The process of film

I only changed the grandfather’s eyes here to show grandfather closed his eyes slowly.

I add this part to show grandfather is peaceful and quite. Previously, there are no angles, Amber gave me the advice, maybe i can draw two angles. But i said to Amber: i didn’t know how to draw angles. Amber said to me: Do you know the angles which hanging on the Christmas trees. I said: Oh i got you!

Also to save time, so i only drawn the actions of the finger to show the grandfather go for a travel, because only use the plane to show this part will be boring.

The plan’s part, i also try to do not used black lines. The clouds i changed for many times, finally get what i want. Because i want to save time, so i make the plane stop and only drawn the moving clouds and mountains(lands).

This part i try to make the little boy has interaction with the last scene’s plane. So i draw the shadow of plane on the little boy’s face.

I drawn this part to show the little boy is sad, because he didn’t know where is grandfather. I think about it long time and decide to draw a globe to show the plot.

This part i want to show the twins are copy. To save time of drawing, so i drawn like this.

Because the voice is loner than the animation of the twins’ dialogues, so i add this.

 

 

The process of film (i am really tired and hungry)

I add this part to show the little boy is happy just like a idiot.

I add this to show grandpa want to the little boy come close. Because i am really tired, so i only draw the close up camera of the grandfather’s hand. It can make the film looks interesting and save time to draw.

I drawn this to show the little boy thinks this stone looks normal.

I add this part to show the little boy is exciting after he knowing this is a magic stone.

The process of film (I am tired)

I drawn this part because the animation is not enough in this part. And i recently want to try this action, so i add this.

Because big Pete can not understand the plot of the little boy and his parents have a different view. And he advised me to add the plot likes this. And i deleted the little bit previous animation to instead of this part.

I add this part also because that part the animation is not enough. This part the voice talks about the grandpa lives so far away. I think about two stars to show the far distance. And add a UFO to make the animation be rich. Because the characters are small so small and i also want to try different style of animation, so i do not draw the black lines. I like this part, but i am still tired.

I drawn this part also because the animation is not enough, so i tried to add a monster’s actions to the house.

I changed this parts hands, color them and make them be more fluent. I also changed the father’s part, because the previous part father does not look good.

I add this part to show the grandfather is weak.

 

 

 

The process of film (I am tired)

I put the whole voice over into TVP and began to deleate some parts which are not good with the voice and to make sure, which parts of voice i need to draw more animation.

I did some marks on the paper of the voice over.

 

A disaster———kill my next days’ sleep and helpful Nathan’s new voice over and many new things

Big Pete watched all my works, and gave me some feedback. He thought small Pete’s voice is not good, after listening to the parts of Nathan’s voice. And he insisted on i should change my voice. It is really embarrassed for me. Because Pete also here, i even can see his white fave turned into red after he listening to these words. And at the same time, Nathan was also busy with his graduation works. So you know… But Nathan agreed to be my voice after he listening to my words. And, Pete looked also can not understand my film. My friends also can not understand my film. So i decided to write a new voice over————the little boy kept talking the story.

I wrote my new voice over, my talented friend Amber help me to read it again and add some more interesting details and plots.

He and his friend Dec Holgate recorded voice for my film for about 2 hours, really thankful.

This is the final voice over, all 3 pages need to be recorded.

I went home and began to arrange the voice again. I used this software to cut the voice. But this is my first time i used it. That night, i asked on the Internet with my friend Amber, Do you have any software can cut and edit sound?  She sent this software to me.

But i do not know how to use it, so i watched a course video on the Youtube. It can teach you how to use this software in 10 minutes.

This is all the files after i finishing the cutting.

But look!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nearly 3 minutes 40 seconds. My animation are 2 minutes 30 seconds now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So i have to draw more animation for more than 1 minutes in the finally weeks before the deadline of graduation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not sleep, i can not sleep, even i lie one the bed, i can’t go sleep.

 

 

owl

I found this owl’s Gif on the Internet and drawn my owl in the film. So in my film the owl can turn its head for 360 angle degree. By the way, this owl is really terrible. For me, i do not like one live can turn it head like this. If cat, dog or human can do this, that must in the horrible films.

Clipped small Pete’s voice, and change the character’s mouth

Small Pete recorded one word for many times maybe at least 7 times, he tried to use different tones and i can choose best of them at home. So the files are really big. And the format of the vice can not be pot in PR and TVP, so i firstly changed its format in
the Convert formatting software and cut some parts i needn’t need. I changed them into MP3 format.

After doing that i began to listen to each voice carefully and try to choose what i want in them, and clip them into one sentence to one sentence. That is a crazy heavy work… Because there are so many choice for me.

I gave each sentence a number, it is convenient for me to name the video and change them if i want.

After all of that, I put the video into TVP, i can see  and hear the voice changing in TVP. So it is so convenient for me to change the month in TVP. But when i am tired to erase the mouths before, i thought next time, i will do not draw the mouth before i recording the voice.

I exported the video and named by the frame’s number. By the way, the TVP can not export the voice. It can but the voice’s quality will be so so so low, it is not good to hear. So i combine the voice and the videos in PR.

I am so happy, i think i am relax, i have finished my work.

The final pictures to add the time

The final part is the name of me, the names of voice acting, the names of teachers and some people i want to tanks to.

So i draw some pictures which can show the little boy’s life with the magic. I want to these pictures can make my film a little bit longer. Hey, hey.
