Add music—-I am fickle

Yesterday, i have dinner with my classmates. We talk about music, we recommend the songs we like to each other.

During that period, i said, so amazing, when i listen to these music, i can feel that times. If i add one music to my film, it will be more interesting. But i don’t know whether we can add one song?

One of my classmates said, of course, you can, Do you remember we watched a student’s film in the classroom. Black and white, kill people…

I said, yeah! remember!

So, today i researched many songs to find the most suitable songs for my film.

In honestly, i want to use chinese songs. Because i am familiar with them. But i think this film will be watched by many people, maybe  they do not understand my language. So i begin to find pure music.

At first i want to find some famous piano music, like Tom and Jerry, the cat and the mouse. But it has too much time. Most of them are more than 5 minutes.

Finally, i find this.  The time is 3 minutes 15 seconds. Perfect for me.

 

it is pure music  and full of power, the most important , it not flat, it has soft point, strong point, slow point and fast point. I use red pencil to mark these important points. Because it aims to be convent for me, i use some chinese to be key words. It is easy for me to draw.

i only mark this short pieces of the music, because i want to actions and music be done together.

I change the feeling of “normal stone”, to make them more suitable for the music’s feeling. And I change a small part of the plot.  What i want is making the film more interesting.

I have to say i am not good at scene’s drawing. Write research is like a way of study by myself. So i think i should have a research on the scenes. I find a Illustrator, he is really good at drawing scenes. He likes put some interesting animal characters in his paintings. He is a Japanese, so most of his scenes have a style of Japanese buildings.

Because he has many paintings, i will only choose some pictures i like best to say my feelings. I know it is not easy thing to choose which ones i like best in these beautiful paintings.

I really like the design———– animals in the scenes. That makes the film be more cartoon. If the these scenes do not have these cute animals, that will lose many entertainment.

After watching his scenes paintings, i learn many things.

First, add some animals and persons to make your scenes have much more energy of lives.

Second, the color can be simple but instead of that, you should have some decoration lines like these:

Third: pay attention to the composition. I think a good composition can give a really big improvement of scenes design.

 

change anything, start from beginning

I don’t want to any voice, i want to use TVP animation to draw and i think my actions is not interesting.

Again and again, I told myself, NO, still do it do not care about these, but i can’t. I always think if i do it i will be better. But how about time? I think it will not be a problem. Try my best to do it.

By the way, i also do not like my transitions between scenes.

First draw with TVP animation

using many time to change the numbers to find the brush which is most like the brush in PS. And find pressing “CTRL” and drawing can make interesting things. For example the moving short lines on the Gif.

It is really a strong software, you can also make stop motion films on it. It is said it comes from franc. But i have to stop using it after first trying. first, when i upload pictures which i drawing on PS, i can’t use Light transmitting station. I should draw on this software, and then i can use Light transmitting station. Another reason is when i put the AVI which i made from this software into AE, AE will stop working. Every time. And sometimes it will close or disappear, but it is a small question and not affect me, main reasons is the beging two reasons.

But i am really like this software, i will try to finish an small animation on it from the first step to the final step when i finish my 3 minutes film. Because it include i think PS, AE, PR, which i often use. Really amazing.

 

A new software for me—TVP animation

One day, i went to my classmate’s room, she was drawing his animation by using a new software that i have never used. But our chinese teacher mentioned before. I asked my classmate, what about this software? I remember this is convenient. My classmate said, it is really good and she recommend me to use it.

I only know how to draw pictures on PS, draw important actions and make these pictures to be unclear and then draw the pictures between them.

and see if it is fluent by  putting them into AE

I have to say, it is really waste time.

So i begin to learn about this software by watching videos, learning from my classmates and learning by myself.

Automobiles’ design by Studio MUTI

In my animation there will have car, because the parents will take the little boy to visit grandfather. And the car’s drawing will make the plot more interesting i think. So the research is necessary.
