By the way, the homework request don’t need the game, but i add it. ‘FIND MR W’S HOUSE’ i really like play such games with my friends when i am a child. So i design the game,  i hope the people who read the book can try to find mr w’s house. In the TV series’ plot , mr w’s house is difficult to be found.

MANCHESTER ANIMATION FESTIVAL

This festival is meaningful. I have to say it open my eyes. If you ask me which one i like best, i will say all of them. They are all better than me.

 

animation and the real world—

 

I saw a famous man use a monster model to make the monster films. It is really amazing. More and more films and TV series use animation combining the real world. And people are also interested in this kind film.

I also remember the stop motion animation， the animator record the progress of building the characters and the characters begin to play music after they being built. The animator is humours and his idea is really good. It is also animation combining the real world. But i think it is not easy（by the way，i think good  works are difficult，animators use time and ideas to bulid dreams)

 

<<we want data>> , at first, i and my friends go to have lunch, we go downstairs, when we raise our heads, we find the poster of WE WANT DATA, a real man’s crazy cosplay i think, bright yellow face without nose. Really funny and can’t be forgotten.So we begin to design this poster, and said even when we come to china, one day see this picture we will remember all his memories easily. The colors and characters design really have powerful effects.
After lunch, we find the same style woman’s poster. And find a big room especially for this animation. Many statues and people can take pictures and use the screen of it. Really big money. Many people take pictures with the statues. we hear the voice of the film. And sit on the chair to watch the film. the film have 3 part screen，each screen has different camera shots.

 

By the way, the music of this film is really unforgettable, ‘DATA DATA WE WANT DATA…’ I think the animator of this film is suitable for the business activities.

There are many wonderful works in this festival, for different age groups and made by different countries.  All of them have their unique thing. They give me much inspirations.

I will choose some of them to write what i think.

This film i think has a good rhythm, it is good for the advertisements.

This film is really cute, i think it is really good for children.

really like this style’s MV, good clips! I think it can be used in the film’s transitions and for example A talk with B, we can use this style to make their part of body on one picture, and talking. Or one people want to do something, but he also don’t want to do this thing, we can use this style to show he is thinking and try to choose.

 

This film has really beautiful pictures and camera shots, however after the girl’s mom died,  why she be confused , find the ants and kill the man, this is not clear, i and my friends discuss about the plot and most of us are confused.

 

I like this film, the plot is so smoothly. and the camera just move from left to right to change the scenes. Really good. In the ending, the police catch the wrong person and send him to the cage. Really ironically.

 

Really really interesting. Most of us like this film.

 

This film’s drawing style and children’s voice make the film to be relaxing.

The red turtle—

We watch this movie. To be honest, we are really looking forward to watching this film. But i don’t like it after i watching this film.  The plot has slow plot, i think it should be touching, but no… The pictures i really like, simple and comfortable make people relaxed. But i will not watch it again. It must want to give us some meaningful things but the first thing you should do is make people to watch again and again, even many years passing, because you are a movie. I think a best movie is like a book, different ages you read it will have different feelings.

I want to show the lights of the film, so only color the light. when it be animated, i change the light’s color. For example, night’s light is blue, day’s light is yellow.

The teacher think my storyboard has too many shots.  I watch the storyboard again, and delete some shots.

 I think every people see the heart head will remind of she. I think if you want to your characters more unique and can be remembered by the audience, the first thing you should do is design an unique shape. Make the head to be bigger than normal people make the movie to be more fantastic.

So we can use the shape which we can know easily, even it is just a shape, such as heart, tower, sun and shit…

So i will use much more shapes to design my characters.
