I want to make my main character to be more crazy, and the following  second picture give me a inspiration of the main character’s hair style. I think the character has abnormal hair style can also make him look unique.

To make the crazy scientist more unique, I give him a pose and a colorful brief. I think he should have his favourite thing–cactus.

Ideas of the little boy：

My main character is a little boy, he likes magic world, so he must be shy. How to be shy? I will give him a pair of glasses to make him look shy and love reading books. To make him be interested in magic world obviously, I give him a wizard hat. I hope the little boy  will like this hat. I think the young children wear rompers will be cute. So I search the following reference pictures.

I want to make my main character looks more positive, so i do not want to him just stand straightly. And I asked my friend to make a pose of this character. 

 

Ideas of TV series

What theme i should choose?

I want to create a TV series which i really want to watch. So I begin to think about some animation i remember for many years till now.

I think draw many creatures, giving them names and characteristics is really interesting. But pokemon is really hot  popular, especially this year have a game in app store called pokemon go. I don’t like follow the rush. So NO!

Heroes storys are really popular too. And i found many of my classmates choose this theme to be their TV series. I want to be different from them. So NO!

I really really like detective stories! But i don’t have talents to write interesting detective stories. So NO!

Finally, i choose the main character can create many amazing things. But the story of TV series must have the crazy feeling.  Crazy + creating many amazing things make me associate with a crazy scientist. So YES!

Synopsis：Mr.W

Long, long ago there lived a mad brilliant scientist in a corner of the town.he can make anything you can think of and can’t think of. He helps good men, also helps bad guys, as long as you give him what he wanted. No one knows his name and ages exactly. Everyone called him Mr. W. For example, he can create parents for orphans, he can also give the army a strong fire-breathing monster, he can also give greedy people a saving pot which always vomit money… But maybe the results will be surprising, the parents will quarrel, monster need a lot of food, also including people in the food, the broken saving pot will not be able to use and the desire for money, never stop… Novel things are happening every day.

What i want to convey to the audience?

I always think is science really good?  Is human’s desire really good? No one can give the exact answers. When someone uses amazing science to finish people’s desires, I want to make the ending be bad. The bad and sad ending always can make people more unforgettable. With the development of science, people’s desires do not decrease.  Science like my main character Mr W, it can help anyone no matter good or bad, we should be careful. Not be careful of science, but the people using science.

Why did i choose magic theme?

At first, i wanted to have many kinds of monsters in the work which has magic theme. I usually like drawing interesting monsters on the book, so i want to make up a story about the magic and monsters. But when I was sitting in front of my desk , I changed my idea. Why don’t i write a story about the happened things before the main character going into the magic world?

Why did i use normal stone in the story?

I always believe story should have some words behind it. The words are not the author directly talked,  they should be felt and understood by the reader. So I wanted to deliver an information that insisting on what you believe, even it is normal in others’ eyes. So i used normal stone to indicate the normal things. Because the stones can be found everywhere.

 Synopsis：Normal store

A little boy, he was interested in the wizarding world of science fiction, when he was reading a science fiction novel,it says if someone give you a strange gift unexpectedly, you will have magic. When the little boy read this sentence, his parents said suddenly that they want to take him to see  a sick uncle who he never heard before his grandfather . The uncle The grandfather and his house looks like coming from the wizarding world. The uncle grandfather gave a common stone to the boy,said it has magic and then he died instantly. The little boy felt stone must be mentioned in the book of magic gift have magic, so he told all his friends, but after all sorts of chanting and various experiments, there was noting strange happening. Friends all laughed at him, they said it was just a stupid gift  dog poo.The friends The little boy put the stone on the bed  kicked away the stone, lights went out, he turned to sleep The little go outside the house and try to find the stone, stone shined and flew. reflected the excited boy’s face. The stone opened a shining hole. The dead uncle grandfather was standing in the hole welcome the little boy  coming to the magic world.

Why i changed uncle into grandfather?

Because when I think about the design of uncle, I came up with him⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒⇒

So i think the uncle’s age is too young for this character.
